This time spent with grandma has provided both granddaughters with a variety of memories. From Taylor - sleepovers at her house, eating ice cream in bed, antique shopping, looking at her plants with her and watching her sing and dance to Neil Diamond. From Shelby- I remembered that when I would get stuck writing essays in school I would often call grandma to ask for advice on word choice or how to phrase an idea that I wanted to convey- As a child she would always humor me in my obsession with farms, taking me to the local feed-and-seed store and saying that someday we would have a farm together.
