Candle lit by Kari Kumar I knew Peter Yu as ‘Dad’. He affectionately referred to me as his number 1 daughter, to the chagrin of Marina! I have many fond memories visiting Marina and her mom and dad during our college days and after, too. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we both spent a lot of time teasing Marina relentlessly. You could see though, that he took a lot of pride in his daughter and all her successes. I am sure he would have fought hard to be there to watch after her...but his time came too soon. He will be missed.
