Candle lit by Clay Birdsell My friend , My Neighbor, A Second Mom. Upon meeting Marlene my late wife Cindy and I became fast friends. Her Pioneer Spirit and Love for conversation allowed for 23 years I considered her my second mom. My own Mother visited me from Idaho so I had to introoduce the two. I shared with my biological mother when visiting Marlene that I tried to do for Marlene like I was doing it for my acual Mom. Both Great Ladies seemed quite pleased. The Gift in giving is was what my real Mom always told me. Oh how true, .....indeed. My life has been richly blessed in knowng Marlene. She filled a void in my Life not being able to have my mom near me, and i tried very hard to give Marlene the Joy of a Son near to count on for the things Moms need a little help with. Marlene became as important for me as any Son could ever care. Thanks my Second Mom for you were Loved as if you were the only one. Always missed, forever Loved. Rest now Mom.........I love you. Your other Son, Clay.
